Tuition & CCAP

Tuition at Fantasy Island Schools for Kids covers a full day of learning, not just childcare. Three meals cooked in our own kitchen, weekly music classes, twice-weekly Brain Gym, and our Gifted Enrichment Program are all included. We also accept families in the Illinois Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP).

How Much Is Tuition?

Tuition is approximately $300 to $400 per week, depending on your child’s program (daycare, preschool, or kindergarten) and schedule (full-time or part-time). Call 773-206-4627 for the current rate for your child’s age group and to check open spots.

What Tuition Includes

When you compare programs, ask what is extra. Many centers charge separately for meals, music, or enrichment; here they are part of the weekly price.

Full-Time and Part-Time Options

We offer full-time and part-time schedules for children ages 2 to 6 in our daycare (ages 2-3), preschool (ages 3-4), and kindergarten (ages 5-6). Availability differs by age group, so please call before your tour.

We Accept CCAP

The Illinois Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) helps eligible working families and families in school or training pay for child care. It is run by the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS). In Cook County, applications are handled by Illinois Action for Children. Families approved for CCAP pay a copay based on household income and size, and the program pays the rest of the approved rate to the provider.

Fantasy Island Schools for Kids is an Illinois state-licensed day care center (License #483511), and we welcome CCAP families, including those assisted by Illinois Action for Children. CCAP families get the same program as everyone else: the gifted curriculum, meals, music, and Brain Gym.

How to Use CCAP at Fantasy Island

  1. Check eligibility. Review the current income guidelines on the IDHS website or ask Illinois Action for Children.
  2. Choose your provider. Schedule a tour and reserve a spot with us. We will give you our provider details for the application.
  3. Apply. Submit the CCAP application with proof of income, work or school schedule, and household information to Illinois Action for Children (for Cook County families).
  4. Start care. After approval, you pay your assigned copay and your child begins the program.

Eligibility, copay amounts, and processing times are set by the State of Illinois. For a decision on your case, contact Illinois Action for Children or IDHS. We are happy to answer questions about our program and how CCAP works with our enrollment.
