At Fantasy Island Schools for Kids, three fresh, locally sourced meals are cooked in our own kitchen every day and included in tuition, so you never pack a lunchbox. For toddlers from Edison Park to Des Plaines and the surrounding area.
You know the feeling at the end of the day: you open your toddler’s lunchbox and find that out of everything you packed, they ate half a slice of lunch meat and one strawberry. Then you start planning tomorrow’s lunch all over again.
At Fantasy Island, you do not pack food at all. We cook three nutritious meals on-site every day, included in tuition, so your mornings lose one task and your evenings lose one worry. Your child eats warm food made that day, at regular times, at the table with friends.
Parents want food that is healthy enough, not a day of crackers and packaged snacks. Our meals are cooked from scratch in our own kitchen using locally sourced ingredients.
Families notice. One parent called us a hidden gem and wrote that the food is all natural and cooked on-site three times a day. Another family, after their boys moved on to grade school, thanked our team for the delicious lunches prepared daily and said they miss them. For a 2 or 3 year old who spends most of their waking hours with us, those meals are a big part of their nutrition.
When you compare daycares, ask what tuition actually covers. Food is often the hidden extra, either a meal fee or the cost and time of packing everything yourself.
At Fantasy Island, all three daily meals are included in tuition at no extra cost, for full-time and part-time children on every day they attend. Weekly music class, Brain Gym and our Gifted Enrichment Program are included too. When you add up groceries, packing time and the snacks that come home uneaten, meals cooked here are one of the simplest ways your week gets easier.
Three. We cook three nutritious meals on-site every day, and they are part of your tuition. Because we are open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, those meals are spread through your child’s day, so whether you drop off early or pick up late, your child is fed at regular times without you packing anything.
No. Meals are cooked in our own kitchen and included in tuition, so there is no lunchbox to pack. If your child has a medical diet or a food allergy, tell us during enrollment so we can talk through what your child needs. Your pediatrician’s guidance is the best starting point for any special diet.
Our meals are cooked from scratch on-site using locally sourced ingredients, not delivered or reheated from packages. Parents often mention the food in their reviews, including one who described it as all natural and cooked on-site three times a day. You are welcome to ask about meals on your tour.
No. All three daily meals are included in tuition at no extra cost. Tuition is approximately $300 to $400 per week depending on program and schedule, and it also covers weekly music class, Brain Gym and the Gifted Enrichment Program. Families using CCAP get the same meals as every other child.
Picky eating is very common at two and three. Eating at the table with friends, with a warm meal made that day instead of a lunchbox from home, can make new food feel less strange. Mention your child’s eating habits when you enroll. If you are worried about weight or nutrition, your pediatrician can help you decide whether there is anything more to look into.
